Overcharged Items are temporary, enhanced versions of regular equipment. They are crafted from a normal item and are guaranteed to receive random bonus attributes, making them significantly stronger than their standard counterparts.

This power comes at a cost: an Overcharged Item lasts for 2 hours of real time from the moment it is equipped for the first time, or until the player dies—whichever happens first.

Step 1 – Purchase the Recipe

Visit General Borewicz and tell him the name of the base item you want to overcharge (for example, Knight Armor).

Requirements:

• You must have the base item with you (either equipped or inside your backpack).
• The NPC only checks that you own the item—it is not removed.
• Pay the required gold fee, which ranges from 100 gp (e.g. Dark Shield, Barbarian Axe) up to 12,000 gp (e.g. The Stomper).
• Recipes can be purchased as many times as you want.

Step 2 – Craft the Item

Place the required materials on an Anvil:

• The recipe.
• 5–15 Ingots, depending on the item (from Bronze to Diamond Ingots).
• In some cases, an additional crafting material.

Use an Iron Hammer on the Anvil to begin crafting.

Crafting requirements:

• Crafting Level: 15–65 (depending on the item).
• Crafting Experience: 250–4,200 XP.

Once crafting is complete, all materials are consumed, including the recipe. This is why recipes can always be purchased again from General Borewicz.

Every Overcharged Item is automatically generated with random bonus attributes when crafted.

• An item can receive up to 5 different attributes, depending on the available attribute pool of the original item.
• If the base item has 5 or more possible attributes, the Overcharged version will always be crafted with 5 attributes, making it Legendary.
• Unlike dropped items or Attribute Orbs, Overcharged crafts are not affected by tier restrictions.

Each attribute rolls between 50% and 100% of its maximum possible value.

Since regular dropped items can roll from the minimum value upward, Overcharged Items are always considerably stronger on average.

Note: Only one weapon skill bonus can appear on the same item. This includes Sword Fighting, Axe Fighting, Club Fighting, or Distance Fighting.

The 2-hour real-time countdown begins the first time the item is equipped.

You will receive the following message:

If the item is never equipped, the timer never starts.

Once activated, the timer never pauses. It continues counting down even if the item is:

• Unequipped.
• Inside your backpack.
• Stored in your depot.
• While you are offline.

When the timer reaches zero, the item disappears and you will see the message:

Death Penalty

If you die after the timer has started, every activated Overcharged Item is destroyed immediately, whether it is equipped or simply carried in your backpack.

They cannot be hidden or stored to avoid this penalty.

However, Overcharged Items that have never been equipped behave like normal items and are not destroyed on death.

Below is the full list of items that can be overcharged, ordered by type. Each entry shows the materials required at the Anvil (the recipe sold by General Borewicz, the ingots and, for some items, an extra component). Lv. is the required Crafting Level.
